OGV (Youth
Orchestra of Verona) is a cultural association joining girls and boys
from 8 to 20 years, who want to build on the lessons received in the
instrument study, not only for a solo practice, but for the pleasure to share the same
interests with their peers .
OrchestrA AND CHOIR
Playing in an
orchestra and singing in a choir, under the expert guidance of skilled
musicians, increases the motivation to study, develop a healthy spirit
of emulation, becomes a stimulus to grow. Recovering the right reasons
for artistic and musical activity, could prevent youth distress.
POLICIES FOR
MUSIC AND STAGE'S ARTS
BETWEEN MERIT,
TALENT AND YOUTH DISTRESS
Aware of the importance of
music education, the OGV wants to offer to all young musicians, with
special attention to the less favored social situations, the opportunity to
develop and share a cultural experience that fuses sound and image, song and
theatrical action. Working on a project that takes shape over time helps to
be aware of their own and others' abilities.
The musical language
facilitates dialogue and relationships.
By working together, music
takes on a "therapeutic" worth for the personal strengthening and the
relationships of peace: learning to "make orchestra" is essential to
achieve the harmony necessary for the final result.

MAKING MUSIC TOGETHER FOR LEARNING
TO LIVE TOGETHER
From 2003, through the
organization of special events, OGV works for music to become vehicle
for living and sharing culture and send messages to raise awareness about
current social realities, particularly relating to children. |
