Orchestra Giovanile Veronese in 2009 joined the Anna Lindh Foundation national network. ALF is the Euromediterranean  foundation for the dialogue between cultures.

We are searching for partnership in the organization of the International Stage for Young Musicians VILLA BURI MUSICA.

In 2008 we had the chance to expand this activity to Notes of Peace project, in order to host young Israeli an Palestinian musicians and encourage dialogue and peace. The universal musical language facilitates dialogue and relationships. By working together, music takes on a "therapeutic" worth for the strengthening of the person and the relationships of peace: learning to "make orchestra" is essential to achieve the harmony necessary for the final result.

The 2010 project plans:

1.   The organization of 6^th International Stage for Young Musicians "Villa Buri Musica 2010", a residential camp, during 12 days in early July, involving teenagers between 10 and 21 years engaged in study of an instrument or singing. Concurrently will take place a Masterclass for strings, an advanced class for violin, viola, and cello. The musical project makes the young participants, the teachers, and members of the staff to share an exciting cultural and emotional experience that promotes both self and mutual understanding, and creates the necessary environment  to prepare for the complexity  of a musical  performance.

2.   The participation at the Stage of about 6-10 musicians sent by each association from the countries involved in the partnership.

3.   Other concerts will be offered in a tournée in Italy and at the European and Mediterranean locations of the partnership. 

We hope that Euromediterranean musical associations could join the partnership with us and other musical schools of Israeli and Palestine. Contacts with this countries are maintained by “Il Germoglio” association, who’s also involved in ALF Italian network.
